| dcterms.abstract | Through the lens of theatricality, this thesis examines the development of the production I've Got Everything by Gruppe 38, a professional Danish theatre company performing for children and adults. The company is introduced in the context of contemporary Danish theatre for young audiences, Josette Feral's 2002 definition of theatricality, and their own principles of theatricality. In application to this production, on the macro- and micro-level, theatricality is both a practical as well as a powerful conceptual tool in generating and evaluating devised work. | |
