Azimuthal anisotropy $v_{n}$ (n = 2,3,4) measurements for particle identified charged hadrons ($\pi^{\pm}$, $K^{\pm}$, and $p\bar{p}$), measured at mid-rapidity ($|\eta| < $ 0.35) in Au+Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 200, 62.4 and 39 GeV at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), are presented as a function of centrality, transverse momentum $p_T$, and transverse kinetic energy $KE_{T}$. The measurements obtained with a long-range two-particle correlation (2PC) method, are observed to be compatible with the anisotropic flow patterns that stem from an eccentricity-driven hydrodynamic expansion of the matter produced in the collision zone. The obtained results are compared to the results from the event plane (EP) method, as well as to recent measurements for Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} =$ 2.76 TeV at the LHC. The scaling properties of $v_{n}$ with the number of valence quarks ($n_{q}$), is also extensively studied as a function of centrality, transverse momentum and transverse kinetic energy. The measurements and comparisons provide important insights on the properties of the hot and dense plasma produced in Au+Au collisions at RHIC.
