Looking at the mythology of the artist Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, and by synthesizing his work as a Baroque artist and create four individual formal analyses on four examples of his mythological paintings. Considering the paintings as not only a connection back to antiquity but as a revival during the Baroque, I will analyze how the paintings serve the artist and one another the world of Caravaggio.
