The World Premieres Preview Concert Series was created by Stony Brook University faculty member and composer John Lessard in 1986, to highlight the work of new and accomplished composers and musicians. The "Premieres! series" as it is commonly known has commissioned works by a wide array of composers from the U.S. and abroad in the past 20 years. The accompanying research collection contains a full-resolution, digital reproductions of the concert series' programs and assorted publicity mailing from it esteemed 27 year history.
