It is the story of a godly woman who responds with wisdom and grace to the abuses of a drunken husband and the vengeance of a raging soldier. The hour-long piece is designed to be performed in a small or black box theater. The music spans modal and whole tone sonorities as the performers interact in the manner of a chamber ensemble. | |
