Before the recipes there is a single page dedication and a three page acknowledgment of family, friends, and professional acquaintances. Three pages of contents list the recipes in page order. The eleven page introduction discusses the genesis and purposes of the book, notes to the reader, and family history. Every chapter begins with detailed information about the topic and the author's family. Also included is a glossary of one hundred thirty-six foods titled in Chinese, English, and romanized Cantonese. Three mail-order sources in two states are suggested. Includes a fourteen page, three column, cross-referenced index. | |
