Before the recipes, there are four pages about the cuisine of the region and modern-day cooking. There are ten suggested menus using items in this booklet. After the recipes, thre is a single page about the history of La Choy. There is a color photograph featuring forty-two of La Choy products. The back cover says: `La Choy a division of Beatrice Foods Co.` As many recipes are neither Asian nor Chinese, this is not a Chinese pamphlet; though some listings indicate it as such. Many recipes are for dishes that the company perceives American think are Chinese. The spelling of La Choy or LaChoy in this annotation follows style used in this booklet. | |
