There is an preface in English by Ouyang Shan and a three page discussion about Guangdong culture, dishes, and taste by Wu Yuhang. The recipes are from seven restaurants in Guangdong (Canton). Most recipes have a few paragraphs about history, culture, and food. There are magnificent photographs of all recipes, restaurants, cold platters, and other items. This is the sixth book in the nine-volume Authentic Chinese Cuisine series. | |
